Perhaps one of the most popular guy styles due to its styling ease, this extra clean cut is sure to please.
- Literally, do nothing! If your hair is this short (anywhere from a 0-2 when clippers are used) there is no styling or product needed.
This look is awesome if you have a sharp jawline to show off.

None necessary for this look. However, if you are getting close to your next cut and your hair is a bit on the thick or curly side, you could use a bit of Paul Mitchell’s Grooming Cream to keep it laying nicely and eliminate frizz.
Tip:
The trick to this look is getting “lined up” nicely. This means that your stylist or barber should use trimmers or a straight razor to make the hair around your hairline look like it is deliberate. You want a straight line around the forehead, and so on!

That’s right guys, lucky for you, the “messy look” is in! James Franco rocks it well and so can you in just a few easy steps.
- After hair is washed, let it air dry. If you have naturally very curly hair, use a flat brush to soften the curls and use a blow dryer to dry it.

- Use a paste-like product that provides some hold and firmness and apply the product to the top section of your hair. Spike it up or run your fingers through your hair with no rhyme or reason for a messier, more imperfect look. Apply a bit of product to the sides to keep them in place.
This look is perfect for any texture of hair! Keep in mind that if you have naturally wavy or curly hair, it will be difficult to get the hair on top to look straight as it is in the photo. This look will bring extra attention to your facial features.

- If you prefer, wash your hair and then towel dry it until there is little to no moisture left. Or even better, use your day old hair!
- Apply a workable product all over your hair. Don’t pay too much attention to where each piece is laying. Imperfection is key here!
If you have thick hair that’s on the straighter side, this look is right up your alley. Ask your stylist to leave it a bit longer on top than on the sides. A round face will be complemented by this look.

This look is perfect if you have extra thick hair, but still want to have a bit of length. An oval shaped face will work well for this cut.

- Use a blow dryer (and a flat brush if you own one) to dry your hair. Keep the blow dryer on low and aim it in the direction your hair will be laying, not all over the place. This step will ensure that your hair isn’t sticking up everywhere and that your defined, side parted style looks deliberate.

- Day old hair will work well for this, but if you want to wash your hair, be sure to towel dry it well so there’s minimal dampness left.
- Use a very moldable and flexible product in the top of your hair. Apply it everywhere, then gently pat it down into place. Don’t get too caught up with where each piece lays. Not much structure is required.

Sublimely Slicked Back
Here’s a classic men’s look that simply never goes out of style!

If you’ve been blessed with a bit of curl, consider yourself lucky! Here’s a styling option for you that will be easy breezy.
- Let your curls dry naturally.
- When your hair is almost dry with just a small amount of moisture left, apply a curl cream or working cream. Don’t manipulate your hair too much. Simply apply enough product to keep the frizz down, then don’t touch it anymore!
As I mentioned above, this look will work perfectly for you if you have a bit of wave or curl. A narrow face will be complemented by this style.

Lengthy Locks
Mr. Pitt is no stranger to both short AND long hair! He rocks this look well and so can you in virtually no time at all.
- If you have naturally straight hair, or even hair that’s a bit wavy, allow your hair to air dry naturally.
- If more texture is desired, apply a small amount of texturizing wax to the ends of your hair.
If you have hair that’s on the straight side or with a minimal amount of wave, this look is ideal for you! It is virtually a zero styling time style and it looks fantastic. A round face will be complemented by this look.

Simply Sleek
Here’s another take on the side part, but this time it’s far more manicured and smoothed down. It’s a great option for a fancy night out!
- When hair is wet, use a comb to distinguish a side part.
- Use a blow dryer (and a flat brush if you own one) to dry your hair. Keep the blow dryer on low and aim it in the direction your hair will be laying. This step will ensure that your hair isn’t sticking up everywhere and that your defined side parted style looks deliberate.

- Apply a working pomade to the top of your hair and form a subtle faux-hawk peak towards the front of your hair. Again, no need for perfection here! You are going for the general look of a faux-hawk, not a perfectly placed and exact style.
This look is perfect if you have short hair that’s fine and you still want to be able to create some sort of texture and style. If you have a round face shape, this look will elongate it.

- When there is little to no moisture left in your hair, apply a strong hold product and push the hair that is on the top of your head to one side. Don’t over do it though. The hair shouldn’t look slicked down, just generally going in one direction.
This look is perfection if you have fine hair that’s straight and you want to keep it short and simple. Keep the top a bit longer so you have something to work with. This look really suits those with an oval face shape.

- If you desire more texture, apply a texture cream to the ends of your hair when it’s dry.
Long hair that’s any texture will work for this look! Straight, curly, wavy — it will all mesh well with this style. If you have a round face, this hairstyle will make it appear more narrow.
